Katikati Lions Club is a community-based club with a current membership of
39. It
belongs to a worldwide organisation with 1.5 million
members from 194 countries. Our Club exists to serve the
community and its gives us much pleasure in doing so.
The emphasis is on community
service in all forms. Lions programmes serve the young
and the aged, the disabled and the disadvantaged -
anybody who has a need.
Programmes are conducted
locally, nationally and internationally. They include
conservation, environment, citizenship services, hearing
and speech action programmes with the
deaf, the blind and the disabled, drug education,
health and social services.
Come along to this community
spirited club and join with others in helping to make
our community a better place.
